Xiaowei Yu received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, along with a Master’s degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University. His research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence and brain science, with an emphasis on brain-inspired AI and AI for biomedical and health sciences. His current research interests include brain network analysis, classification, domain adaptation/generalization, semi-supervised learning, and large language models (LLMs).
He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
