XianBiao Hu is an Assistant Professor at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Prior to joining Missouri S&T, he was a founding team member, Director of R&D, and General Manager of the Chinese holding subsidiary at Metropia Inc.  He also served the role of Affiliate Professor at the University of Arizona. He is currently serving as the editor board member for the International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology, and reviewer for over ten academic journals and conferences. He is the faculty advisor of Missouri S&T Institute of Transportation Engineers student chapter, and member of TRB Committee on the Impacts of Information and Communication Technologies on Travel Choices. He has won multiple awards including the Excellent Paper Award at 2018 World Transport Convention.
