Dr. Tony Luo conducts research on IoT security, adversarial machine learning, and AI-IoT integration. His objectives are to safeguard IoT systems against vulnerabilities, make machine-learning algorithms robust to adversarial and/or unreliable inputs, and develop innovative AI-IoT applications that are of profound economic and societal impact. He earned his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining Missouri S&T in 2019, he was a Scientist and Program Lead at A*STAR. He is an IEEE Senior Member and an AAAI Member.
