Chenglin Wu is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T). He is an active member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society of Experimental Mechanics (SEM), and Adhesion Society. Dr. Wu received his first Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri S&T in 2013, and a second Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mechanics from University of Texas at Austin in 2017. He joined Missouri S&T subsequently in Spring, 2017. He has authored over 66 journal publications in nanomechanics, nanomaterials, smart materials, sensors, and additive manufacturing. His research is driven by fundamental science and also extends into engineering applications in terms of future intelligent infrastructure.
